Hatchling’s Director Lawrence Appenzeller has a MA in Event Design and over a decade of event experience helping non-profits, small business owners, students, and working artists create memorable experiences. He is certified in accessible and sustainable event design, neurodivergent-friendly, and works on a sliding scale budget. Specializing in events for up to 30k attendees, Lawrence has directed and produced art markets, virtual art shows, cabarets, pride festivals, pageants, parties, fan conventions, educational classes, fundraisers, and much more. If you are looking for help with your geeky, freaky, or queer event— you’ve come to the right place! We offer remote pre-production services & in-person services in Savannah, Georgia and the Metro-Detroit Area.
